Avinash Pandey current Vice President, Sales and Marketing Division of Star News also heads the Advertsing sales for MCCS. His accomplishments don’t pause here, he is the Convener of IAA young professionals chapter India. He joined MCCS in 2005 and successfully continues to contribute to it.
He attended the IAA’s meet with Sam Balsara at Delhi. The meet went successfully and had gathered a massive response from students, apart from the advertising and marketing professionals.
With rapid changes in methods of communication, it is become a necessity for everyone in the industry to have a trusted body to turn to for not just advice and support but also a channel to voice opinions about the medium. Avinash Pandey has used his knowledge accumulated over the years and is contributing to maintaining the standards in our industry. He introduced Sam Balsara & Lara Balsara and thanked them for flying in from Bombay to spend time with the IAA YP members. The meet was a great victory.
Avinash Pandey Star News, Executive Vice President and Head Revenue, gives out a message for today’s youth is, that “frequent job hopping is not advisable as it takes at least 1 year to understand the company and so to get a proper exposure to exhibit your skill and sharpen your talent, a longer duration of work is required”. A testimony to his past years of work, the message holds important value for today’s youth.

Neeraj Sanan and Avinash Panday become Star News EVPs
18 JulTwo executives with rich experience and expertise in their field have been elevated to the EVP position in MCCS.
MCCS is the joint venture between ABP and STAR India owns and operates three news channels – Star News in Hindi, Star Majha in Marathi and Star Ananda in Bengali.
While Neeraj Sanan has over 16 years’ experience in marketing across verticals, Avinash Panday started his career with the India Express group and then moved on to the TV Today group in 2000. In 2005 Avinash Pandey joined Star News.
